Today here, I’m to say about how to retrieve lost notifications on Android.You know very well that, sometimes the Android Notifications menu fills up so fast.We do not even check those notifications and we’ll close them.It’s easy to close the notifications.This type of closing of notifications may cause a problem to us, think you might have accidentally skipped some important notifications by swiping them aside.There is no need to worry about it.here I’m to show you how to recover lost notifications on Android device by finding the history of notification.Previously I shared many articles about howto of Android.you can take a look at one of my articles How to View Source Code of a Webpage in Android.
How to retrieve lost notification on Android
The Notification log-where you can find deleted notifications-It is only available on Android Jellybean or above versions.To accomplish this task, you need to follow the steps below.we used Android Lollipop to do this task.
1.You need long-tap on an empty space on your home screen of Android, then tap on ‘Widgets’.
2.After going to Widgets, swipe left until you find “Setting shortcut widget”.
3.Now, tap on that Widget for a long time, until home screen appear.then you need to drag it to a home screen.
4.Go into ‘Setting shortcut’, there you need to scroll down and tap on Notification log.You can view above image for clarity.
5.A shortcut of Notification log will appear on your home screen.just you need to tap on it, you’ll see Notification history.
Once you enter the Notification log, you’ll see closed notifications in Grey and active notifications in white.You can view missed important notifications on tapping Gray notifications.
